The importance of successful communication for the acceptance of the bioeconomy is probably undisputed. But what are the success strategies and ways to win consumers and stakeholders over to the bioeconomy? This is the question raised by a workshop organised by the European Bioeconomy Network and the BioCannDo, BIOVOICES, Biobridges and LIFT projects.
The workshop will bring EU-funded projects, European platforms and networks, Member State networks together with stakeholders from industry, research and education, public administration and civil society dealing with communication and awareness raising to support the European Bioeconomy Strategy through communication activities. It will promote the discussion and sharing of lessons learned and best communication practices, formats and channels, successful activities, multipliers to be involved, messages and arguments to be used (in terms of style, scope, terminology).
This is a side event of the Bioeconomy Conference “European Bioeconomy Scene 2019” jointly organised by Finland’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the European Commission on the 9th July.
