BioCannDo organises a webinar for educators involved in developing and/or teaching bio-based (online) educational materials or programmes in Europe.

The webinar is an opportunity for sharing thoughts and experiences on bio-based education and to take part in the development of new educational content on bio-based subjects. BioCannDo will also engage in a new network of educational actors.

BioCannDo (Bioeconomy Awareness and Discourse Project) explains the idea of a bioeconomy and bio-based end-products in clear language, in a scientifically correct manner, and connects it to everyday life. Next to enhancing public communication about bio-based subjects, BioCannDo also specifically aims to strengthen both formal and informal education about bio-based topics.
In order to do so, a Community of Practice (CoP) will be formed to facilitate the exchange between educational partners in order to develop and share new educational materials to fill in gaps identified in existing programmes.
