The BioCannDo project will be joining the international bioeconomy exhibition (in Pavillion 6) at the Maker Faire in Rome. The project team will present the “bioplastic street” – an experimental set-up with successive practical activities where young students make bio-based plastic with natural raw materials. In addition, the project team will conduct a consumer survey about bio-based food packaging.
The Maker Faire Rome is a large faire for inventions and innovation open to all forms of applied creativity, from serious and innovative ideas to more imaginative ones, from new technologies to traditional “know how” and handicraft. Hundreds of inventions, attractions and creations await the visitors to the Fiera di Roma, covering more than 50.000 m2 of covered display areas.
